Here are some of our favorite recipes you're sure to enjoy.

French Toast

Ingredients:

  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 4-5 slices Challah, 3/4 in thick

Procedure:

Mix the ingredients thoroughly with a whisk. Preheat a non-stick pan to medium-high or melt some butter in a regular pan. Dip the bread in the batter, drain excess, and place in pan. Repeat until pan is full. Cook until golden brown, then turn over. Finish cooking until golden brown on both sides. Serve with real maple syrup.

 

Pancakes

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 4 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1-3/4 cup milk

Procedure:

Melt butter. Mix dry ingredients. Make a well in the center. Add milk and eggs. Whisk liquids without mixing in too much of the flour mixture. Drizzle in butter while continuing to mix liquids. Mix all ingredients with whisk until thoroughly mixed. Heat non-stick electric skittle to 350F or heat a non-stick pan to medium-high on the stove. Pour in batter to make 3" diameter pancakes. When bubbles pop, turn over. Cook until golden brown. Serve with real maple syrup, preserves, bananas, or any other topping of your choice.

 

Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 28 oz. can Tuttorosso Crushed Tomatoes with basil or equal
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp dried basil
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 12 oz. grilled hamburger, chopped up into small pieces

Procedure:

Heat tomatoes in covered pot at medium high. Using a garlic press, add garlic. Add basil, oregano, olive oil, and hamburger meat. Stir well and often. When bubbling, cover, reduce heat to low and simmer for hours if possible.
